This service is free and open to everyone, which only works if it is not abused. These rules exist to keep it available and fast for legitimate users.
Permitted use
You may use these tools to convert documents you own or are authorised to process, for personal, business, academic, or professional purposes, at a reasonable volume.
Prohibited use
- Uploading documents you do not have the right to process, including material obtained through unauthorised access.
- Processing documents in furtherance of fraud, identity theft, forgery, or money laundering.
- Attempting to alter converted output to misrepresent a financial record.
- Automated or scripted submission at a rate that degrades service for others.
- Probing, scanning, or attempting to breach the service or its infrastructure.
- Uploading files intended to exploit the conversion software or the server it runs on.
- Reselling or rebranding the service as your own without permission.
Fair use limits
Uploads are limited to 25 MB per file. Optical character recognition is computationally expensive, so we may throttle or temporarily block traffic that consumes a disproportionate share of capacity.
Enforcement
We may block access from any source that breaches this policy, without notice. Where a breach appears to involve criminal activity, we may report it to the relevant authorities.
